Neurosurgery One has developed an outstanding reputation among consumers and referring physicians for our high standard of neurosurgery care over the past 15 years.
Since its inception, Neurosurgery One has become one of the most experienced and comprehensive neurosurgery practices in Colorado. Our Denver neurosurgeons specialize in spine surgery, brain tumors, aneurysms, trauma, trigeminal neuralgia, epilepsy, and DBS for Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor. We believe strongly in being an advocate for our patients in an increasingly complex health care environment and offering them the full complement of cranial and spinal procedures, so they can obtain the treatment that best suits their condition, health, and personal goals.
Continuing our legacy of exceptional neurosurgery care in Denver
Our practice is making some changes to continue this legacy and better serve our patients, referring physicians and the community.
- As of July 1, 2018, South Denver Neurosurgery has changed its name to Neurosurgery One. As we expand our practice geographically and add new neurosurgeons, we feel our new name better represents the scope of our services and all that we offer. Going forward, you’ll begin to see our new practice name on office signage, patient forms and our website.
- Also beginning July 1, we have opened a new neurosurgery patient clinic on the campus of St. Anthony Hospital in central west Denver area. Like our Littleton clinic, we will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care. Until now, patients in the area have had to travel across the city and sometimes out of the region for neurosurgical services. In addition to offering basic neurosurgery procedures, we will provide advanced, complex procedures that are not currently available in the west Denver metro and mountain communities. The new clinic is located at 11750 W. 2nd Pl., Suite 255, in Lakewood.
- We are pleased to welcome Dr. John Hudson to our practice. He joins us from St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO, where he was and will continue to be director of the Level I Trauma Center’s Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Hudson brings a wealth of experience in the treatment of brain tumors, aneurysms, spine conditions and trauma. He specializes in neuroendoscopy and other minimally invasive approaches to brain surgery, general spine surgery, and image-guided neurosurgery. Dr. Hudson is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. A Denver native, Dr. Hudson completed his undergraduate studies, medical school, and residency at University of Colorado, and also earned a PhD in neuroscience and pharmacology there. Dr. Hudson will see patients at our St. Anthony/Lakewood office. Learn more about Dr. Hudson here.
