Meet Mark Hugo
Mark Hugo was born and raised in Lincoln, Neb. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nutrition science from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. After college, he spent two years working as a perioperative assistant where he developed a passion for surgery and patient care. During this time, he spent many hours shadowing a neurosurgery physician assistant, which led him to pursue a career as a surgical PA. Mark earned his master’s of physician assistant studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He relocated to Colorado following PA school and started employment with Neurosurgery One. He conducts neurosurgical examinations, assists Dr. J. Adair Prall in surgery, and provides pre- and post-operative care. His goal is to provide comprehensive patient evaluation, education, and individualized care to optimize patient outcomes. In his free time, Mark enjoys golfing, hiking, bicycling, skiing, and cheering on the Huskers.
