Meet Yuliya Mezentseva
Yuliya Mezentseva, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in spine care, with a focus on neck and back pain. She plays an integral role in both surgical and clinical settings, providing care to patients at Neurosurgery One in Lakewood and Porter Hospital. She supports Dr. Beckman in surgery as his surgical physician assistant.
Yuliya earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the Red Rocks College PA Program and holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Musical Performance from Regis University. Her diverse medical background includes experience in general and trauma surgery at Good Samaritan as well as dental endodontics and surgery.
With certifications in NCCPA, BLS, ALS, and ACLS, Yuliya is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She believes that curiosity is the foundation of exceptional medicine—always asking questions, continuously learning, and striving to support her patients at the highest level. She is passionate about ensuring her patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their healthcare decisions.
Outside of work, Yuliya enjoys Latin dancing, exploring Colorado with her husband and pup, Harley, playing and teaching piano, discovering new books, and adding to her collection of unique plants.
